A former country leader in the hospital passed a coronavirus test, which gave a negative result.
Former President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev was taken from a pre-trial detention center to a hospital with a diagnosis of bilateral pneumonia. This was reported by the State Committee for National Security of the country.
It is noted that Atambayev complained of poor health, and last week he met with relatives and lawyers several times.
They handed over to the ex-president parcels and documents. At the same time, one of the lawyers had respiratory symptoms. Atambaev was given a coronavirus test in the hospital; he gave a negative result.
